Another fun day in London

Couldn't post last night because the internet didn't seem to want to cooperate with me.  Yesterday was Friday and we started off at a cute little Italian place for breakfast and then went on the Original London Tour bus, froze up on the top deck but had a fabulous time.  We stopped at Covent Garden for some shopping and lunch.  We shared a wonderful soup with some bread and it really warmed us up and then we devoured a wonderful waffle topped with ice cream and chocolate sauce.  There were many street entertainers there that we enjoyed.  We had fun and laughed a lot.

Came back to our apartment for a quick change and off to meet Connie and Steve Knight for a trip on the London Eye.

Then we walked across the Westminster Bridge, right by Big Ben and went to the dock for our dinner cruise. 

We had a fabulous time together.  

Today is Saturday and we started off the day scurrying around with our tour guide watching the changing of the guard.  It was great fun as we saw all from beginning to end.  We then headed off to the Tower of London and had a wonderful Beefeater give us a tour.  After which we went and saw the Crown Jewels, all the wonderful torture paraphernalia, the chapel and the ravens.  What fun!

We left there and went to the Tower Bridge.  It was a beautiful day today with the sun out and I got some fabulous pictures.  We were exhausted and stopped at a pub for dinner. 

Tonight we're going back to the Tower of London for the Ceremony of the Keys at 9:30.
